Rwanda: Bizimungu Appointed As Muhanga Coach

FORMER Rayon Sport coach Ally Bizimungu has made a quick return to the game after being appointed the new coach of Primus league club AS Muhanga until end of the season.

Bizimungu was named coach for the Muhanga based side late last week to replace Sosthene Habimana, who was sacked over a series of poor results, according to the club chairman Celse Gasana.

Gasana also disbanded the whole executive committee which was headed by Jean Marie Nkurikiyimana following months of internal wrangles that affected the team's performances. The only surviving member on the committee is Secretary General Innocent Gashugi.

The former SC Kiyovu coach, who will be earning Rwf600, 000 per month, has been tasked to find his own assistant coaches.

AS Muhang, who are currently placed in 12th position with 11 points open their second leg quest against 13th placed Etincelles in Muhanga over the weekend.
