Nigeria: 'Rosehill Group Bolstering Nigeria, S/Africa Economic Ties'

One of Africa's emerging business conglomerates -Rosehill Group- is seeking to grow the business and economic ties between the Africa's top economies-Nigeria and South Africa, the outgoing High Commissioner of South Africa to Nigeria, Jeremiah Kingsley Mamabolo said in Abuja at the weekend.

Ambassador Jeremiah Kingsley Mamabolo, who spoke at a dinner organized by the Rosehill Group, said the group is a big name to watch being one of Africa's most reputable business team, a statement from the group said.

"I have enjoyed the humility and friendship of Nigerians," the High Commissioner declared.

The trade volume between the two countries, he said, had hit a whopping $30 billion by mid of last year.

The envoy has been redeployed as his country's Ambassador to the United Nations.

Speaking, chairman of the Rosehill Group, Alhaji Suleiman Yahyah, described the envoy as an experienced diplomat who had managed effectively sensitive diplomatic issues between the two countries since he came to Nigeria.

As part of its huge investment, the chairman said his group is one of the real estate companies selected to build new districts for Abuja through the Federal Capital's land swap policy.
