Egypt: Foreign Minister - Egypt Is Committed to Protecting Arab, Foreign Investments

Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr asserted on 19/1/2013 that President Mohamed Morsi will head for Riyadh to attend the third Arab Economic and Social Development Summit.

The two-day summit will be held in Riyadh under the Chairmanship of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia.

Morsi will deliver an address at the opening session of the summit about the economic situation in Egypt and the region.

In a word during the preparatory ministerial meeting in Riyadh on Saturday, Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr stressed that Egypt is committed to protecting the Arab and foreign investments, confirming that Egypt has taken all measures to protect them, including the establishment of an economic council under the Presidency.

Egyptian economy will regain strength and prosperity, Amr said, noting that Egypt has miscellaneous industries and skilled labor.
