Nigeria: ...commission Donates Relief Materials to Victims in Kaduna

Kaduna — The National Commission for Refugees yesterday donated relief materials worth millions of naira to Kaduna State government to assuage the sufferings of last year's flood victims.

Presenting the items to the government of the State, the team leader, Ibrahim Jibril Aliyu said the items, though arrived late, should be distributed to the affected persons judiciously.

According to him, the items includes mattresses, mosquitoes nets, cooking stuff, rappers, children cloths, books, pens, drugs, water guards, sanitary equipment, Pam pass, different kind of soaps, Omo , palm oil, groundnut oil, rice, noodles, salt, insecticides, water filter, school sandals and hoes.

Receiving the items on behalf of the government, the Secretary to the Kaduna State Government (SSG), Hamza Isah Danmahawayi thanked the refugee commission and assured them of onward delivery to the affected persons.
