Angola: Police Stop Attempts of Violation of Angola/Namibia Border

Ondjiva — Three attempts to breach the border delimiting the Angolan province of Cunene with the Republic of Namibia, in the last seven days, were stopped by the Border Police.

According to the spokesman of the National Police in Cunene Province, superintendent Piedade Pombal, in the sequence of the offences that were committed, five national citizens were arrested and after questioning were set free.

The offences happened in sub-unit of Calueque, mark 12, and border post number 19, the officer informed.
