Caxito — At least 41 groups are registered to participate in the 2013 edition of the Carnival in Bengo Province, revealed last Saturday the head of the cultural action section of the provincial culture department, João Francisco António.

Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that 30 groups will participate in the adults category parade and the other 11 will participate in the children's parade.

He also revealed that one week before the start of the Carnival, the authorities will organise upgrading seminars for the Carnival groups to focus on various parading techniques, choreography, theories, among other aspects.

João Francisco António appealed for major support from entrepreneurs, so that the preparation and performance of the groups be improved.
