Nigeria: Foundation Trains Youths On Nation Building

New era educational and charitable support foundation, in partnership with United Religions initiative-West Africa, is offering scholarships to young people in Nigerian tertiary institutions to study in its 2013 Annual Youth Leadership Institute.

The training which has the theme "The Role of Young People in Nation Building" seeks to catalyze the emergence of a new generation of youth leaders who will participate effectively in forging a strong democratic, people-centered development and sustainable economic emancipation in Nigeria.

Emmanuel Ande Ivorgba, Executive Director of the foundation said, "The program seeks to foster, develop and support youth initiative, and a strong representational youth voice in the service and decision making process of our nation, and to engage youth as ambassadors of peace, good governance and interfaith dialogue, towards the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)."
