Pretoria — Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan has invited the public to submit their tips on what they would like to see in the National Budget, which he will table next month.
The minster is also encouraging South Africans to send through their tips on how inclusive growth can be achieved and how it can reduce unemployment, poverty and inequality.
Gordhan will present the 2013 Budget to Parliament on 27 February at 2pm.
Tips to the minister can be sent to Private Bag X115 Pretoria 0001; they can also be sent via the National Treasury website: www.treasury.gov.za. The public can also fax their tips to 012 315 5126 or via Facebook on Pravin Gordhan's fan page/National Treasury South Africa.
The budget tips campaign is run throughout the year and it also ensures active participation in government programmes especially on matters related to South Africa's economy.
