Tunisia: President Marzouki Leaves for Riyadh to Attend 3rd Arab Economic Summit

Carthage — Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki left on Monday morning for Riyadh to attend the 3rd Arab Economic and Social Summit scheduled for January 21-22.

The President is escorted by Ridha Saidi and Riadh Bettaieb, Minister in charge of economic issues and Minister in charge of investment and international co-operation respectively, reads a Presidency statement.

The summit is expected to discuss means to boost investment and strengthen economic and trade ties, and to work out a strategy and mechanisms to establish economic and social complementarity among Arab states.
