Kenya: Maili Nne Clerics Call for Reconciliation

Church leaders in the North Rift have asked losers in the concluded parties' nominations to concede defeat for the sake of peace and reconciliation

Speaking on behalf of the clerics drawn from various denomination, Bishop Ben Bahati of Global Field Evangelism and Pastor Stephen Mburu of Kenya Assemblies of God, Kiambaa in Eldoret, urged the losers and victors to join hands in fostering peace. The leaders said political goodwill will help realise peace and unity.

They were speaking at a peace concert rally held at Maili Nne trading centre, on the Eldoret-Webuye highway yesterday. The church leaders asked nominated aspirants to preach peace and reconciliation in their campaigns
