Kenya: Eldoret Women Celebrate Their Success

As Kenyans celebrate 50 years since independence this year, women in Eldoret recently marked their economic independence in a ceremony organised by Solaso Kenya at Langas Primary School.

Solaso is an organisation that empowers women with skills to be economically stable. After a sumptuous meal, the participants threw themselves to the dance hall.

In attendance were the assistant president Germany Solidarity with Women in Distress (the mother body) Gudrun Angelis accompanied by a volunteer Ulrike Gottlob, EMO Foundation national vice chairperson Esther Muigei and Director Solaso Kenya Elizabeth Shako.
