Sudan: Militiamen Attack Three West Darfur Villages in One Day

Sirba Locality — Pro-government militiamen attacked three different villages in Sirba locality, West Darfur in just one day, residents told Radio Dabanga.

They said the militia group looted homes, shops and horses on Sunday and that the affected villages are Abu Denga, Jalab and Hashaba.

Before entering the towns, pro-government militias fired gunshots in the air, witnesses recounted.

The perpetrators reportedly stole four thousand Sudanese pounds and six horses from the Abu Denga village alone.

Citizens asked authorities to deter and arrest those involved in the attacks and bring them to justice.
