Residents who turned up for the Friday launch of the nationwide ICT campaign that took place in Rulindo district were mesmerised by the Urban Boyz's performance.

Their performance, sponsored by Tigo, pulled more crowds than any other that day.

After officials were done with their remarks, the group got the ball rolling with their hits 'Bibaye', Wampoye iki and later 'knocked' the audience 'out' with 'Take it off'.

"It is my first time that I have seen these boys performing live and I have come to agree that they are real musicians," said one of the residents who only identified herself as Clementine.

Others who also made the ICT campaign launch memorable were the Dream Boyz and Jay Polly who was brought in by MTN.

During the event, residents won mobile phones in a draw organised by the telecommunication companies. Alex Muhire, one of the lucky winners, said that it was his first time to own a phone.

"I consider myself a lucky man. The fact that I now own a phone will simplify my communication with friends and family members," he said.
