Angola: Dundo Thermal Central to Produce 30 Megawatts

Luanda — Angola's minister of Energy and Waters, João Baptista Borges, on Monday here announced the construction of the Dundo thermal station, in Eastern Luanda-Norte province, Angop has learnt.

The mentioned station is intended to produce 30 megawatts of power and may also supply Dundo centrality, that still under construction.

The programme of the Angolan Executive foresees the rehabilitation of the Luachimo hydroelectric station, that will increase the production from 30 to 36 megawatts.

Minister João Baptista Borges said so when replying the Angolan MPs during the analysis of the State budget.
