Angola: MPLA Official Highlights Amilcar Cabral's Figure

Praia — MPLA party secretary for external relations, Afonso Van-Dúnem Minda, on Sunday considered the late Amilcar Cabral an icon of the modern nationalism, Angop has learnt.

The politician voiced so when speaking at the 40th anniversary of the death of the Father of the independences of Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde.

Afonso Van-Dúnem Mbinda congratulated the initiative of the Amilcar Cabral foundation for the holding of the forum that took place under the theme For Cabral forever, adding that the initiative matches the commitment of keeping alive the humanist philosophy of this great son of Africa.
