Angola: Education Ministry Runs Workshop On Updating of National Plan

Luanda — The Ministry of Education is running from Monday a workshop on updating of national plan of education for all 2013-2017 (PAN-EPT).

The three-day event will come up with the main conclusion and results of evaluation of PAN-ET 2001-2015, collection of participants' contributions for the enrichment of the plan.

This includes aspects of monitoring, assessment, communication and insemination, as well as an outline of the main ideas (goals, strategies, activities) to include in PAN-ET 2013-2017.

The workshop discusses topics such as "Early Childhood Education", "Primary and secondary education", "Preparation for life and literacy," "Equality, gender and equity" and "Quality of education".

The event gathers 52 delegates from 13 provinces of the country.
