Angola: Bayacas King Wants Greater Unity Among Chieftains

Uíge — The King of Bayakas, Quimbele Municipality, Northern Uije province, António Muanauta Cabamba, encouraged the Chieftains and the religious authorities to work towards unity, respect and mutual participation in their tasks, Angop has learnt.

He called on the leaders to play their true role in the communities, mainly in transmission of moral, ethics and cultural values for the new generations, resolution of conflicts, as well as preservation of cultural identification in the region.

He considered important and necessary that the Chieftains, religious entities and the population in general to collaborate with the Municipal administrators recently presented to the population.

"Recently, the vice governor presented the new administrators of Quimbele, António Zambo, and Elísio Futica, so we as Chieftains and religious authorities must give our contribution", he said.
