The Infrastructure Monitors International (IMI), a non-profit organization, has commended the Federal Ministry of Works over the "Project Safe Passage" launched by the ministry to reduce traffic congestion on major highways.
The programme helped in reducing traffic gridlocks during the yuletide.
In a statement jointly signed by Barrister John Bull Adaghe and Mary Keane, Country Director and Secretary of the group, the organization said it was pleased with the new spate of road development in the country and called on government to repair major roads and bridges across the country.
