South Sudan: Project to Enhance Government Service Delivery Ongoing

Juba — Efforts by the Government of the Republic of South Sudan to deliver services to its citizens has received backing from the World Bank and other development partners which are supporting the development of the Local Government Service Delivery Project (LGSD).

The LGSD aims to support improvements in local governance and deliver services to communities through strengthening of community engagement and local government capacities in planning, implementation and oversight of local development activities.
