Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi announced on Monday launching an Arab Ministerial Council for sustainable development during the third Arab Economic Summit in Saudi Arabia.
The initiative aims at following up on the issues of sustainable development through forming an Arab negotiation team and putting the issue on the top of the Summit's agenda.
Mursi also proposed the formation of an Arab Monetary Fund, especially at a time where most of the Arab countries are faced with financial challenges.
