Nigeria: Mob Kills Motorcycle Thief At Kubwa

Two armed robbers were yesterday morning beaten to stupor by a mob at Kubwa, after they allegedly snatched a motorcycle from the owner.

One of the robbers however died from the attack, while the other was rescued by the police.

A witness said the robbers had snatched a motorcycle and were running away with it.

"They rode aimlessly and fell into a ditch and were immediately pounced upon by an irate mob," he said.

He said one of them died in the process, while the other was seriously wounded and was rescued by the police, who took him to Kubwa General Hospital.

At the hospital, the suspect was interrogated by police officers, while the Head, Accident and Emergency unit, Dr. Paul Oliseh, informed that he sustained serious injuries and refused to disclose his identity.
