The Nairobi Securities Exchange has today launched the Growth Enterprise Market Segment to enable Small and medium sized companies list and even raise capital at the NSE.
SMEs need to among others be registered, have 10 million shillings minimum capital and no profitability record is required.
Companies will be assisted to list by nominated advisors while the NSE will also train its directors on corporate governance.
