Angola: Rehabilitation of Africa Têxtile, Satec Factories Set for First Quarter of 2013

Luanda — The works of rehabilitating the factorities África Têxtil, located in Benguela Province, and Satec, in Kwanza Norte Province, are scheduled to start in the first quarter of the current year, as revealed Monday by the Industry minister, Bernarda Henriques da Silva.

Speaking at a specialty meeting that analysed the Draft State Budget for 2013, the government official said that the first steps are now being taken towards the implementation of the mentioned two industrial projects.

She informed that the Executive has been implementing a cotton development programme, which includes textile production.

As regards the textile company Textang II, based in Luanda, the minister informed that the works are in an advanced stage, with the first experiments scheduled for the first quarter of this year.
