Egypt: Attempts to Break in Matrouh Police Station

Clashes broke out on Tuesday in front of the police station of Matrouh Governorate.The clashes took place between the families of people accused in a smuggling case and the security forces as they tried to break in the police station.
The security fired bullets and teargas bombs to disperse the people.
The clashes followed a verdict that convicts the accused to six months of military prison.
