Kenya: Losers Ditch Parties After Nominations

Most losers in last week's nominations in Trans Nzoia have defected to other parties. ODM's Godfrey Siundu has defected to Wiper party after former outgoing Kwanza MP Noah Wekesa got the party ticket.

Justine Siti, New Ford Kenya women's representative aspirant decamped to FPK after she lost to Janet Nangabo. Wafula Mutacho of Ford Kenya joined FPK after he was beaten by Ken Simiyu for the Saboti parliamentary seat while Paul Sitati has joined ODM after he lost to Chris Wamalwa for Kiminini parliamentary ticket. The defectors said the nominations were not free and fair.
