Kenya: Left Foot Season Starts Next Month

Newcomers Black Diamond FC will take on Madd FC in Division One as the 8th edition of Left Foot sports season gets underway at Highridge Primary grounds on February 23. It will be a litmus test for Diamond, who won promotion into Division One at the end of season seven.

Madd FC are the defending champions. Another top match will see Green Zone Property Management confront Sunfit Gangsters at the same venue. Green Zone were promoted to Division 3 this season.

Left Foot managing director, Aman Bhasin is optimistic that they will surpass current team count, which stands at 100. "We strongly believe that we will surpass our 100 mark."

"Left Foot Sports would like to work closely with Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to not only strengthen grass route football, but also allow "social players" to come and enjoy the game whilst respected corporate teams build and market themselves on and off the pitches," added Bhasin.
