Djiboutian Govt Urges Citizens to Retrieve Voting Cards

Newly registered voters in Djibouti should retrieve their voter identification cards from the appropriate districts ahead of the February 22nd elections, Minister of Interior Hassan Darar Houffaneh said in a press release Saturday (January 19th).

Everyone who registered during the period from May to September last year can pick up their cards at government offices near their homes, Djibouti's La Nation reported.

Houffaneh urged all Djiboutians to come forward and retrieve their cards and to fulfil their civic duty to vote.
