Angola: Parliament Speaker Grants Audience to Foreign MPs

Luanda — The Speaker of the Angolan Parliament, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, on Tuesday here received a team of MPs with Frelimo (Mozambique) and Cape Verde (PAICV), for a courtesy meeting, Angop has learnt.

After the meeting, the MP Euclides Nunes de Pina, told press that during the talks they thanked the assistance provided to them during their stay in the country and knew better of the functioning of the National Assembly.

The MPs are in the country at the invitation of the ruling MPLA party to participate in the parliamentary activities of this party, set for January 23-24, in Luanda.

Euclides Nunes Pina said they will focus their debate on the experience related to the debate and approval of the State Account.
