Angola: South Africa's ANC Party Team Attends MPLA Parliamentary Activities

Luanda — A team with the South Africa's ANC party arrived on Tuesday to participate in the first parliamentary activities of the third legislature, in Luanda, on January 23-24, promoted by MPLA parliamentary group, Angop has learnt.

The team is being led by ANC's parliamentary leader, Mathole Motshekga Thabalaka, who is accompanied by the head of the oil and finance committee with the South African Parliament.

Commenting on their participation in the event, he said it is very important as it will enable to reinforce our relations, as we have a long history and a join struggle that enabled MPLA party to participate in the process that made South Africa free from the apartheid regime.

We are grateful with this invitation as it gives us the opportunity to consolidate, strengthen and deepen our long existing relations of friendship and co-operation between the two parties.
