Angola: ANC MPs to Debate Budget Legislation Matters

Luanda — The legislation experience of budgets in South Africa will be the main theme to be presented by the South African team that will participate in the first parliamentary activities of the third legislature of the National Assembly, set for January 23-24, in Luanda, Angop has learnt.

This was disclosed by the head of the oil and finance committee with the South African Parliament and member of the ruling party's ANC sub-committee of economy, Thabo Mufumadi, who is in Angola to participate in the event promoted by MPLA party.

According to him, in South Africa, the budgets are divided into three independent structuring levels, namely the local, the provincial and the national ones, but that function connected in accordance with the state budget, passed each year by the National Parliament.

Thabo Mufumadi said his intervention will focus on the matters of the parliament role in conception, management and legislations of the budgets, as well as the case of the evolution of the budget system in various levels.
