Angola: Zaire Governor Checks Media Organ Functioning

Mbanza Kongo — The governor of Northern Zaire Province, José Joannes André, visited at the weekend the public media organs to learn of their functioning, Angophas learnt.

The official visited the premises of the State-run Angolan News Agency (Angop), National Radio of Angola (RNA) and the Public Television (TPA).

The local director of social communication, Ernesto Lencaster, said the visit aimed at checking the real situation of the sector there.
