Kenya: 'Nomination Process Was Abused' National Gender and Equality Commission Says.

National Gender and Equality Commission chairperson Winfred Lichuma indicated that insufficient election officials and the complexity of ballot papers showed the unpreparedness of political parties to undertake the nomination exercise. She added that in several counties marginalized groups especially the elderly and people with disabilities were sidelined.
