Angola: Governor Guarantees Protection to HIV/Aids Positive Workers

Kuito — The acting governor of central Bié province, Carlos da Silva Ulombe, on Tuesday here pledged to protect the labour continuity of all workers infected with HIV/AIDS, Angop has learnt.

He voiced so at the closing ceremony of the meeting of fight against the illness, promoted by the provincial Government, jointly with the Ministry of health, adding that such action will make that they are not discriminated, both at the work and in their communities.

Carlos da Silva Ulombe also said that the local Government will support the families of the patients, both at the availability of treatment, and psychological follow up, meant to enable a good insertion in the useful life.
