Morocco: Argentine Cathedral Engaged in an International Campaign of Solidarity With Saharawi Detainees in Local Prisons

Buenos Aires — The free cathedral of studies on Western Sahara at the National University of Argentina involvement in the international campaign for supporting the Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan prisons scheduled to begin from next Saturday, according to Saharawi source of the Polisario representation in Buenos Aires.

In a statement published on Saturday the free cathedral of studies on Western Sahara announced «involvement" in the international campaign to support the Sahrawi detainees planned to start on Jan26, to draw attention of international public opinion about the Saharawi cause and to impose respect of human rights in the Western Sahara territory.

it should be recalled that 24 Saharawi political prisoners known as Gdaim Izik group will bring before a Moroccan military court in February 01,2013, because of their organization and participation in a peaceful protest against Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara or what became known as Gdaim Izik camp 2010.
