Egypt: Update - Three Injured in Police Station Clashes in Matrouh

Three people were injured on Tuesday in clashes with security at the police station in Marsa Matrouh.

The clashes broke out earlier as the families of some defendants tried to break in the police station following a court order convicting them to six months in military prison for being accused of smuggling.

The security forces fired gunshots and teargas bombs to disperse the people, which led to the injury of three of them.
