Tunisia: President Marzouki Confers With Saudi Finmin

Riyadh — President Moncef Marzouki received Tuesday in Riyadh Saudi Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assef, who was accompanied by Saudi Development Fund Chairman Youssef Bassem.

In a statement to the press, the Saudi Minister described his meeting with President Marzouki as "fruitful," specifying that it had been an occasion to discuss bilateral trade relations and efforts exerted in the development field notably the Saudi Fund's investment efforts.

Mr. Ibrahim Al-Assef said that they had reviewed preparations ahead of the Economic and Social Summit scheduled to be held in Tunisia in 2015.

The meeting was attended by Minister in charge of Economic Files Ridha Saidi and Trade and Handicrafts Minister Béchir Zaafouri.
