Omar Jawo has joined striker Alagie Sosseh at Vasby United on a two year contract.
31-year-old Jawo put pen to paper with the third tier side last week Thursday snubbing bids from bigger clubs.
He is the second Gambian to join Vasby United now AFC United after striker Alagie Sosseh moved in early this month.
Omar reunites with the club after he left in the summer of 2008 while they were a Premier League outfit at the time.
His acquisition is seen by the club as a major facelift at its defense in the club drive to gain promotion to the top flight.
According to the Scorpions defender his decision to join up is mainly for family reason -because his siblings are nearer at Vasby.
Terminating his contract with premier league outfit Syriac after seeing limited actions during last season. He also shunned a chance to sign with Mariehamn in Finland in the process.
