Kenya: Trouble Looms in Education Sector As Teachers Issue Strike Notice

Teachers have issued a 7 day strike notice over their dues. KNUT chairman Wilson Sossion says the government owes teachers 25 billion shillings in house, commuter and medical allowances as agreed in their return to work formula after their month long strike in September last year.
