Angola: Economic Commission Analyses Monetary Market Memo

Luanda — The Economic Commission of the Cabinet Council last Tuesday in Luanda analysed the Memorandum on the Monetary, Exchange and External Accounts Markets, a gathering that was chaired by President José Eduardo dos Santos.

The Economic Commission, which held its first extraordinary session of this year, also analysed several documents relating to the activity of the National Reserve Bank (BNA).

The session also looked into matters relating to social security, the Saving and Credit Bank (BPC), the 2013 programme for the implementation of macroeconomic policy measures and the mission to Angola of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in the ambit of the existing Stand-by Agreement.
