Egypt: Investment Minister - Suez Canal Development Project Will Not Be Unplanned

Investment Minister Osama Saleh said on Tuesday 22/1/2013 that the Suez Canal axis development project will not be unplanned and not dedicated for a certain country.

The minister pointed out that a general plan will be devised for carrying out development projects through usufruct system not by sale.

In a press conference held at the Cabinet's, he noted that Qatar did not apply to set up a Qatari city in Egypt.

During his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, where he attended the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, he met with a large number of Saudi investors willing to invest in Egypt.
