Namibia: Natural Beauty On Exhibition in 'Simply the Same'

Namibian photographer Christian Goltz will present his first solo exhibition entitled 'Simply the Same' at the FNCC Gallery next Monday.

The New York trained artist is also a fine-art printer, who takes on commercial assignments and offers photographic workshops.

In his exhibition, he showcases his recent work in outdoor portraiture, wildlife and landscape, establishing the inherent connection between these subjects - natural beauty.

"I try to see and then make simple photographs of what cannot be explained," says Christian Goltz. "Normally, it must be beautiful and Namibian. Women, leopards, a milk bush in the Namib and so on."

Award-winning Goltz owns a fine-art photography studio in Windhoek, specialising in nature photography in the broadest sense.

The exhibition will open at the FNCC Gallery on Robert Mugabe Street in Windhoek, on Monday, January 28, at 18h30 and will run until February 27. Entrance is free.
