Egypt: Morsi Inaugurates Cairo Int'l Book Fair

President Mohamed Morsi inaugurates the 44th Cairo International Book Fair on Wednesday 23/1/2013.

Morsi meets with a number of Egyptian exhibitors, publishers and writers to discuss challenges facing the publishing industry in Egypt.

Libya will be the guest of honor at the 44th exhibition which runs until February 5 under the slogan "Dialogue not Clash".

Seventeen Arab countries and eight Foreign States are participating in the event.

As many as 735 publishers are contributing to the fair; of them 498 Egyptians.
