Egypt: Sisi - Armed Forces Will Always Have Key Role in Securing Homeland

Defense and Military Production Minister Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi said the Armed Forces will always have the key role in securing Egypt and its people.

Sisi said "The Armed Forces with all branches will always remain the safe haven for all Egyptians and defend the homeland's dignity."

Since its establishment in 1955, many of the army Elite Force have sacrificed their lives to defend the country in times of war and during the January 25th Revolution, Sisi said.

At the end of the ceremony, Sisi paid tribute to all commanders of the Army elite force, topped by Major General Galal Haridi.
