Eritrea: Development Gives Impetus to Socio-Economic Activities

Molqi — The inhabitants of Molqi sub-zone said that they are in a position to improve their livelihood in line with development accomplishments in the locality. They expressed their gratitude at an assessment meeting conducted at sub-zonal level.

Among the inhabitants, Rev. Yebio Kesete, Mr. Gebremichael Yirga, Mr. Tesfai Gebrehiwet and Mr. Abadi Fissehaye explained that their basic needs have been met, and lauded the government's commitment to rural development.

Mr. Sheikhedin Saleh, Administrator of the sub-zone, indicated that a 31 Km-long dirt road connecting 4 Administrative areas has been constructed and become accessible. He further pointed out that various development programs would be implemented this year targeting improvement of the community's livelihood, and called on the inhabitants to sustain initiatives as regards popular undertakings and enhance participation in adult education.
