Andrew Sunkuli's aspiration as Narok's first senator received a major boost after Muslim leaders backed his bid. Led by Narok Muslim youth chairman Ali Suleiman and women leader Farhia Hassan, they have decided to settle on him owing to his humility and his development track record.
They said he is the only leader with capacity to unite all tribes and religions in Narok. The leaders spoke yesterday in Narok town after holding a closed door meeting with Sunkuli.
