Kenya: Man Arrested With 6000 Kg of Giraffe Meat

A suspected poacher was today arrested in Narok town with 6,000kg of giraffe meat. The suspect was arrested along the Narok-Nairobi highway ferrying the meat using a matatu.

He tried to bribe the officer with 60,000 shillings. Police suspect the meat was going to be sold at Burma market in Nairobi.
