Sudan: 20 Gunmen Loot Thousands From Commercial Vehicle, Central Darfur

Ammar — About 20 gunmen driving Land Cruisers and motorcycles looted a commercial vehicle on Tuesday evening in Wadi Saleh locality, Central Darfur.

Onlookers said the perpetrators stole goods worth thousands of Sudanese pounds.

The vehicle (brand Z, Y) was on its way from Nyala to Garsila and was attacked at about 5:00pm at the Ammar area, one kilometer south of Garsila, sources told Radio Dabanga.

They recounted that the gunmen emptied all of the vehicle's cargo and that its passengers were also looted.
