Luena — The União Vozes do Leste carnival group is preparing itself to win the 2013 edition of the carnival in Moxico Province, in the adults category, said Wednesday the group's manager, General Michael.
Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that the conviction in such goal is due to the way the group is preparing itself for the provincial parade.
He explained that the 90-member group, which will participate in the carnival for the first time, will show the folkloric dance called "tchingole", mixed with "kwassa-kwassa" and "kuduro", having as theme the gains of the country with the effective peace.
He appealed to the local culture department to be quick in the distribution of the support material the groups need.
The provincial parade is scheduled for February 09 (children's category) and February 13 (adults).
