Ethiopia/South Africa: Fans Violence Earns Ethiopia a Fine

Goalkeeper, Jemal Tassew has been given a two-match ban by CAF (Confederation of African Football.

The referee showed the goalkeeper the red card ass he was being carried on a stretch off the pitch.

Ethiopia Football Association which was fined a 5, 000 USD (United States Dollar) following the conduct of the teams' supporter act of throwing objects by the CAF disciplinary committee.

Including plastic vuvuzelas on to the pitch after goalkeeper Jemal was sent off 10 minutes before halftime for and offensive attack on Zambia's No. 3, Chisamba Lungu during their opening Afcon match against Zambia in Nelspruit - South Africa on Monday.
