Ado-Ekiti — The Court of Appeal, Ado-Ekiti yesterday ruled that Ekiti state Governor Kayode Fayemi lacked the constitutional powers to sack local government chairmen and councillors elected into office in 2008.
The elected officials, who were came to office during former Governor Segun Oni's tenure were sent packing shortly after Fayemi assumed power in 2010.
